This item seemed to work correctly at first use. I was de-soldering some SMD parts from a board, using the smallest nozzle. After a little while, the heater regulator failed, resulting in 100% heat. The device quickly over-heated. The heater's overheating protection kicked in, so no more heat. I concluded, the heating element broke... After several days of not using this item, I powered it up again for the purpose of creating a dispute video and photos. And now it works correctly. So, I did not dispute. The heating control is very touchy. It does not control temperature, it controls power. Airflow control is okay. This is a cheap device, for occasional hobby use. Not suitable for daily professional use. Professional units cost 10X more.
