The portable Hot Air Soldering Station arrived a week earlier then predicted and this over christmas/newyear .. Unpacked everything was well packed and present and after assembly worked without a problem. (The three nozzles for the gun are in the box). Very important, the spare heating elements frame is made from sturdy ceramics not the crumbling micia paper one can se in other devices. Most astonishing was the weight of the power supply which has to provide about 800W of power, 700W to the heating element and 80W to the blower. The PS weighs a mere 130g. For this reason the rather short cable between PS and airgun doesn´t matter as one moves the whole assembly with ease, everything is surprisingly lightweight. I by now only tested the device by quickly unsoldering some parts from scrap boards, just to get a feel for it. Everything worked well.
