I just purchased this insulation resistance tester for my new job, my old 500 volt mega was not powerful enough to check the insulation resistance of the electrical hose I now use. More and more people want anti static hoses especially where fine dust and powders are prepared. Static sparks can cause explosions in flour mills, talcum powder factories and all fine dust areas, the hoses we supply have to meet strict discharge laws, this meter will test and approve the insulation properties I send out more accurately, I use and send both static and antistatic hoses to customers, where antistatic is requested I must test it before despatch, this unit is proving to be a great tool for such checks.
