Point of caution, when removing the printer from the package be sure to watch out for any possible loose screws that may fall as I did have one of the mounting screws drop into the box as it had come loose. If you do manage to lose one however don't be overly concerned as GeeeTech has thoughtfully included a full set of additional screws, nozzles, and Bowden tubes along with a set of tools to work on the whole thing. Setup from opening to having a working machine took about 45 minutes for me.One issue I noticed after a couple of failed prints is that the default temp through the Cura slicer program is 200c for the print head and 60c for the bed. The reference file prints with the head at 215c and the bed at 55c.
This is my second Geeetech printer, and once again I am very pleased with the quality. The assembly was very easy. The quality of the machine is beautiful, and it prints very well. As with any new printer, you need to check a few things before you print. I did that and did not have any issues. Everything aligned perfectly. The carriage wheels were good. Nothing 'wobbly'. The only thing I did to it before printing was to level the bed, and that is a given on any printer. I've assembled a few printers in my time, and this one is as easy or easier than any so far. If you are thinking of purchasing this printer, you will not be disappointed
