DO NOT BUY As the other reviewer already mentioned, it produces completely wrong results. I measured sugar saccharose solution and the refractometer read 13.5 Brix at a sugar concentration of 20% and 8 Brix at a sugar concentration of 12%. That is so far off that it is unuseable for the intended purpose. You might get away with doing a custom calibration curve but that defeats the whole point of getting a refractometer with a narrower scale for more accurate reads.
