I was very skeptical initially upon ordering however, this was the only high end, basic pre-amplifier with remote (solid aluminum remote...which requires a 2032 lithium 3v button cell) available on the market for <$500. Ordered the unit with the Burr Brown OPA and Muse OP Amps. Performed interior inspection. Nice. Burned in for 7 days with nothing connected. After 7 days, installed into the main stereo system driving a pair of reference VMPS STIIa/r's. The music source is a high end HiRes Cayin DAP with FLAC and lossless music files. All I can say is this pre-amp is very, very impressive and sounds fabulous !!! Low noise and high gain !!! Highly recommended pre-amp at a very low bargain price !!!! Note: When initially powering up the pre-amp, the motorized volume control will reduce to just above the minimum during turn on mute function. Very nice feature engineered into this fine unit.
Very nice warm crisp sound out of the box. My lowly Sony CS5 speakers comes to life with this preamp and A60 amp (also I bought from this seller)... quality bass and crystal clear treble. Now I'm really enjoying my music more. Shipped very fast reached me only after a few days after ordering. Top notch seller.
