Made a purchase of this set on 25 February 20 and receive on 10 February 20. Item as described in the ads. 1. Inspected external of the main unit and the power supply with no defects or damages. 2. However, the cable input from the power supply to the main unit was not secure as it follows turn when plug in. 3. Had setup the unit in my system for short 2 hours of listening. Overall Sounds clear and clean with a little bit of hissing from the speakers with volume control to the minimum. Will be doing some more breaking in of this unit.
Arrived very quickly. Extremely well packed. The preamp built quality is excellent, as shown. Cold out of the box, the sound was very transparent, with attenuation of the upper frequency making it sound a tad coarse, enhanced and some clipping at loud passage. I contacted the seller and reply was prompt and very professional, decided to run it in and see. After 4 days, the coarseness which sounded like clipping has almost 80% gone, hopefully, another week of running in will clear it. Sound is transparent, engaging, very musical with just a hint of coarseness at high freq, very forward energetic mid vocal, bass is tight and low....you cannot really fault it at this price bracket. Remember that the original is about 10k euro, this is merely a fraction of the price. This is my first purchase of a clone and I am utterly blown away by its performance to price ratio.
