A bit fiddly to attach to microscope.

Excellent. Bought 2pcs of different types/sizes. Good build quality & very useful to attach phone to eyepieces. How well it works depends on eyepiece design including barrel shape & eye relief (since there will be some gap between lens and phone). Tested Type C one and it worked great for taking pics/videos afocal with 1.25" 82deg 6.7mm Explore Scientific eyepieces in a telescope. However, even Type D could not fit 2-inch ES 24mm eyepiece due to its barrel shape. Celestron 8-24mm Zoom eyepiece fits in Type D but haven't tested taking pics with phone yet. Just keep in mind that it might not work with every eyepiece design esp. those with short eye relief.
