ut61e+ is an ok meter, however I recommend you think carefully before buying this. Do not buy this for electronics work, because this is an electricians meter NOT an electronics meter. It is usable for automotive work because of it's sturdy construction and large display. The body has a sturdy construction. The kickstand is great: it has rubber at the base to stop slipping, it opens and closes smoothly and is not loose. The display is big. The USB connection and application is good. The probes seem to have a gold or brass plating. The NCV is not sensitive, it only starts beeping right next to the wire. The selector dial is loose at each position. It has a peak-max-min function, but no average. The hFE feature is pointless, and you also need to connect an adapter to use it. Measuring current on the milliamps range has a high burden voltage. There is no hole for a hanging strap, but there is a bolt hole to attach it to a stand.
Well packed. Multimeter looks very solid. I didn't have chance to test accuracy of the multimeter. Test leads look very nice gold plated with nice soft cables.
