Overall, I love this LCR meter and I think it gives excellent results for the price. I have not tried out the serial data port functionality. What I do like about the product: - The unit itself seems very rugged - Works very well, very functional - Consistent readings making multiple measurements - Can be powered by USB cable, saving the 9V battery - English instruction manual is very understandable even though it is clearly a translation What I do not like about the product: - Flimsy support for standing upright - Battery power is expensive 9V instead of regular AA/AAA - Battery lid is screwed directly into plastic, instead of into a metal insert
