Very expensive for buttons that do not fit on mechanical keyboard!

They are metal. They are keycaps. The shape dont feel like they match up as accurately but still acceptible. I kind of wished that the 8 key version was wasd+arrow keys instead of qwerasdf but I got what I bought. Note that actuation is easier, probably because of the weight. The sound and feel is different too
