Well, actually you cannot eliminate the backlash with this sort of nut. But frankly, I did not expect it. What you get is double-start acme thread which is much better then conventional metric thread anyway. And I hope the backlash will be at least predictable and stable. But it still remains. If you need to get rid of backlash completely, you have to think of using a ball screw. Though I doubt that ball screw of such small size exists at all.
