Description should indicate DC working Voltage. Description should indicate minimum submergence depth and maximum submergence depth for correct operation. Device works correctly. Nice water vapor effect with coloured light but device needs to be installed in a large diameter dish / bowl (at least 40-50 cm and 7 -12 cm deep) to prevent water droplets from spraying on table. Water depth should be 1-5 cm above the top of the device to obtain sufficient vapour that spreads nicely. If dish or scale is too deep vapour does not spread around dish but stays in the dish.
