What a knife, what a sharpeness. Fantastic. Thanks..
The knife is exactly as pictured (outside of expected variations in the cladding and hammer finish). Small details are as they should be; like deburring/polishing edges near where you grip along the top, flushness between dissimilar materials, and edge straightness. Knife arrived reasonable sharp, but can benefit from a honing on a high grit stone. Packaging protection of the gift box itself is the normal padded plastic pouch, mine arrived nearly pristine but your experience may vary. The protection of the knife in the box is very good; knife has both a foam cutout to sit in and plastic guards for the tip/heel of the knife to prevent chipping/bending if the box does get damaged in the post. Overall very pleased. All impressions are after only light use/initial impressions. If there is any issues long term, will likely update.
