It is what it is, the price is cheaper than what i can get here, but only by a smaller amount than I would hope. The quality is a tiny bit low for its price. I have purchased on taobao much better measuring equipment (vernier calipers IP68 rated) from China for the same price difference, but that was while living in China. It seems Allixpress did not give as good a deal as I have achieved in the past. It is what it is, and worth the price if you want a cheaper but functional Micrometer. Just can not achieve 5 stars in quality as the plastic parts are assembled and moulded at lower grade for such a device, and it just doesn't have a good finish to its alignment, still preforms well so i can recommend so far (few days owned).
for measurements of 0,01mm it's ok. it has repeatability problems (+- 0,003mm)
