The measuring point is more than 2 cm below the laser pointer no matter what distance is between meter and measuring thing. The emissivity index is siriusly important! Wrong emissivity number may cause measuring error more then 150°C especially at higher temperatures. Of course the emissivity index table is not present. The description says "User Manual(English)" the seller means, only numbers are in english...
