Was delivered very quickly to London from Hong Kong - This is a fantastic phono stage - I've tried some Mullard valves and some Golden dragon valves. Both sets sound stunning

I used a project phono box before this ( which was very good considering it's modest price) A friend then gave me a nobsound valve buffer with 2 general electric valves in it (about £40) I fed the project into the valve buffer and was captivated. That was a revaluation and I fell for the valve sound. Ready for an upgrade and this is the only thing on the market that gave me what I'm looking for. It has a battery based moving coil implementation which I've yet to explore as I've only had High output Moving coil cartridges which run through the MM circuit. It sounds extremely clear and powerful and I use the volume on the front as a type of Gain Eg. my Nagaoka mp150 has the setting around 12 / 1 Whereas my Sumiko Blue point No 2 has the volume around 3 or 4 o'clock. I listened to Vincent Rega and the New Project Valve based boxes and a couple of others but didn't feel any of them justified their asking prices. I bought this on chance - based on nobsounds valve buffer - It's FANTASTIC
