Good sound on my good bass. Not a cheap sound at all. I played an hour on it. Mids at about 1 Khz are a little bit loud., but it may go off after a while. Happy with them. Good enough to go on stage with. Negative: The G-string is too short for my bass! It has all tuning keys on one side, like a P-bass or J-bass. I could wind up only a half round. And the core is thin. It was not enough. But the keys have a hole inside for the string. I put the string in, and added a thick nail in the hole. That worked. But damn, can't they measure string lenghts? From the beginning of the bridge, where the string goes in, until the middle of the tuning key was 108 centimeter. Basses with two keys on both sides, will not have this problem.
