At $12.65, a good value starter set for trying flatwound strings. But be warned, the strings come with a black coating, probably from the manufacturing process, and it will come off and stain your fingers, fretboard, bass and everything else you touch! I even had to clean the floor after stringing my bass. Last pic is my fast fret after cleaning the strings every day for one week. Strings look and sound nice now but cleaning up was a lot of work.
