I previously owned G600 and now G1200 feels like an upgrade. There is still some room for improvement. The LEDs could have a diffuser placed beneath. it states that it has 12MP, but i really doubt it. The picture quality is nowhere near 12MMP sensor. Maybe it is sensor, maybe "optics". Still it is good unit to work on small PCBs or read IC markings. The stand is stiff and sturdy. But it won't help you if you work on bigger boards. (Like 20x20cm) as there is no room for PCB there.
