Received cable with different hardware, with golden stripes. Was told it's new style and pictures in the ad were not updated yet to show new style. At first I was not happy I received different looking product, since I wanted to have older, all-black hardware to match my ISN C16 cable and look better with all-black earphones. Even thou this new hardware style is not what I wanted, I was impressed by how good it looks: those rings are machined groves, not just paint, and all gold accents seem to be a real gold plating - it's way too smooth and way too good looking. "S16" and "K" are laser made, not paint - you can feel roughness of it by touching it with your nail; if it was paint you would only feel a smooth bump. It's one piece cable: no soldering to join 16 cores to 8 cores, you can see on pictures cable is split with braiding; my guess would be 16 cores are machine braid, 8 cores are hand braid. I bought ISN S16 and ISN C16 cables to micro-tune the sound signature. Great cable!
Great cable but it came wired backwards (letf channel was the actual right channel and vice versa).
