Item arrived in a padded plastic envelope. Although envelope and box protecting product was crushed the product was intact and undamaged. Instructions are printed on both sides of a folded piece of paper. Black face of handle hinged open from handle base to expose a battery cavity for a 9v battery. Read instructions for the various button functions. Tested unit by measuring stove top element to 556°c. Not able to test to 1300°c yet so can't confirm effectiveness. First impressions is that it offers very good performance for price paid. A great value. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase from this seller. Very quick delivery as well.
