The scanner is good for 120's negatives (60x90), because then it has a real 14Mpx. A well-preserved 120-plate film with good sharpness, after scanning the Qpix FS210, gives a great result. At 135 (36x24mm) it can be worse than scanning directly from a 90x120 print with an ordinary flatbed scanner with an optical resolution of 600 dpi / inch). 135 is enough for home viewing of negatives. For home digitization, more suitable for 120's. If someone would like to make 135s apart from the 120 ones, it is better to look for something dedicated to 135s with a real optical resolution of at least 14Mpx. 120 (60x90) cuts by 1 cm in width. It's a bit of a lot. When doing 60x60 you have to set 60x70 so that it doesn't cut off. For a 60x90, the 65x100 option would be useful. You can insert it without a frame, then you will gain a few millimeters, but it's survival. Swans - an old film from 1992, b&w 135 (2 photos).
