Very solid pen. Writes even smoother than my "F" Platinum Preppy. The fine nib is only a bit less fine than the fine Preppy, still a genuine "fine" I think. The light weight and hexagonal shape make for a very comfortable writing experience for me; my hands are on the small side, I wear a Mens small golf glove. A serious contender for me in the lightweight budget pen space. I haven't tride the converter yet, but it seems decent enough. I have a Kaweco Pearl Black cartridge installed. I'd say it writes nicely wet, not at all too much. It remains to be seen how it does over time, particularly how airtight the cap really is, and whether the nib will dry when capped. I expect that might be the Achilles heel (especially compared to the Preppies). There is a liner deep in the cap, but you can also see the screw in there which holds the clip in place. The cap does post well on the end of the pen.
