After three days of burning in, this amp is sound very good. It was a little edgy when first plugged in. Now it sounds a little warmer with no sibilants and the character of the pre-amp is shinning through. I’m looking forward to trying it with my VacuumState FVP5 valve pre-amplifier. This is a great backup power amp or for a second system. I can thoroughly recommend this power amplifier, it’s changed my opinion on D Class amplifiers. It doesn’t seem to be as powerful as I thought it might be - as it doesn’t play too loud on my JBL L100 Century’s but there is absolutely no distortion and it’s as clean as can be. But there again it is only $300 AUS and great value for that.
