The purchased amp is at the bottom of the rack. JFYI, the unit on the top shelf is a DIY volume box. The build is a tiny bit rough but no complaints, the price/quality ratio is off the roof. If you have a set of speakers around 90db or so and live in an apartment, you can max out your volume to summon your neighbors wielding pitchforks. As for the sound quality, Sounds just like a Mosfet Class A should. Very stereophonic/holographic soundstage and a good balance between cool and sweet. LOVE IT!!
