High quality microphone. Clean signal, low noise when properly amplified. For best signal-to-noise ratio make sure you connect to a preamp that provides around +45 to +55 db of gain. If you are using a mixer, try connecting to its XLR input instead of its 6.35 (line) input (either by using a different cable than the one provided or by attaching a 6.35 to XLR adapter) since some mixers (such as the Behringer Xenyx 802 that I'm using) provide lower gain (only up to ~40db in the Xenyx) for the line inputs and may give much noisier signal with the line inputs than with the XLR inputs.
