I wasn't sure how good this would actually be in the dark, but it is quite a bit better in full colour than a same sensor size late-ish model box IP camera with name brand f/1.4 lens on it in IR (night mode). Lens sharp from centre to edges. I struggled at first to get it working without the app, but search for stream=0.sdp to get on the right track. My first Aliexpress order was a good one!
