The item looks like something purchased out of a discount store. Very poor quality, very small. I can see it being useful for a child, in a fresh water pond, who is just learning to fish. But this is NOT a good rod for salt water fishing in the ocean, for any fish that are big, or for adults. I do not recommend this rod.
