This DAC works just fine, but I'm not sure whether it sounds as good or worse than my onboard audio. I'm surprised how small it is (fits in the pawn of my hand, mind you I have fairly large hands). I'm going to keep using it because it's convenient for my desk setup and it gets louder then my onboard audio, and my headphones need that.
