Shipping was fast. Quality is excellent, the USB cable is thick and its contacts are gold plated, the power adapter doesn't heats up at all, and it stays cold when it's in standby (connected to AC but not used). It's mentioned in the description, so I'm just confirming it, that it's absolutely not working if you not plug in the power adapter, so you won't be able to use it without the power adapter. It also compatible with Android, none of the HDDs what I connected to my phone has external power supplies, so they were only powered from the USB HUB. Allegedly it can be used to charge phones, but there are problems with this function, in the additional feedback I'll write more about this.
The USB hub arrived in good condition. I am satisfied after testing the hub and recommended to other who are interested in theis USB hub. TvG.
