very good!
The product I received is identical to the pictures, but the amplifier board is inverted. This causes a small radiator to touch the RCA cables (see pictures) and it reaches 70°C... The back panel shows only the function of the switching button written by hand. No user guide or regulatory certification. Inside you see 3M tape (467M) on top of the radiator cooling the Mosfets. Unfortunately 1) this is not thermal tape and 2) it does not touch the top panel, so that won't dissipate heat. Hottest component is the IRS2092 (60°C, on separate card, this is good). Sound? What I can hear is very satisfactory for the price. Pure performance of the IRS2092 is not top class (THD+N is 0.01% only). But, in my house, they are powering big 80kg Montana EPX speakers, each with four SEAS 10" woofers in isobaric chamber. The capability of these little amplifiers to make them deliver amazing bass levels is impressive. Rest is really good considering the price.
I added some pictures. I used my favorite CD (Oscar Peterson Trio - We get request) to perform some tests. In fact it is not one CD, but 4 different versions (original CD, K2 HD version, Verve Master Edition and latest Ultimate HQ Japanese version). These 4 CDs, sound really different even if sourced from the same original tape master. I was expecting the amplifiers to make me hear the differences. And there's no doubt, which means the definition provided by these two mono-amplifiers is really very good. Again, this was a rapid test, and I will need much more time to review them with all types of music I'm listening to and at different levels. I'll try to update here if I'm allowed to.
