Got an aluminium one. Rotating joints are too loose to keep an SLR camera firmly and tightening screws doesn't help with it well. So I wouldn't suggest using this tool with SLR cameras or even with mirrorless ones. Maximum - with phones/gopros/etc. But it doesn't seem to be reasonable to use such a big stand with phones though. Wasted money IMO.
