Paid 15$ to upgrade to a YMD75 V3 instead of the regular PCB. Very nice kit! Assembly was pretty terrible since it's a traymount (you mount the PCB to the case, plate isn't attached at all.) but the finished product is very very good. The acrylic glows so nicely in the dark and the RGB leds are surprisingly good. Short guide on how to get VIA compatability for V3 board: Go to the Aliexpress YMDK V3 page and open the google document in the description. There you will find the VIA flash file and the keymap.json. You hold FN and ESC to go into flash mode. Then you flash the new VIA flash with QMK Toolbox. In order to change keymaps you need to open the keymap file every time in VIA until the board is officially added to the VIA compatibility list.
