The slider is quite solidly built. It didn't have a battery included but can be powered up with the supplied USB cable. I had trouble connecting via Bluetooth, but the store was helpful with some advice and had it connected within minutes-turn location ON. It was well packaged and arrived undamaged. It does require some assembly, tools supplied. The APP takes a little time to get used to, you can set start & end points and speed for video shooting. The time lapse function is a little harder to get to work. I will have to have more of a play with this.
