At first I was surprised with the quality of this knife set and me and my wife were so happy. I’ve ordered second set for my mother. After two weeks 3 knives out of 5 got splits in handles (see pictures below). The blades are sharp and keep edges well, quality of steel also meets my expectations. I hope company will check their process with wooden parts and fix this issue. Note: the knives were stored in dry knife holder, no dishwasher or long periods of being in water.
