This is an excellent induction hob: well designed, well built, and the fan isn't noisy. I wasn't surprised that the 16-page instruction manual was in Chinese, as this was disclosed in bold red type on the sales page. A picture (copied below) on the sales page suggests that the OLED display can display English characters. Another picture (also copied below) suggests that the display can be iconic, i.e. showing a line-drawing of a hotpot rather than the simplified Chinese characters for huǒguō/hotpot. To avoid disappointing future customers -- and to assist those who have already purchased this excellent device -- I hope an additional image is soon added to the sales page, with translations into various languages. Ideally: this image will be formatted for printing as a label that the customer may attach to the side of their induction hob.
The postal service lost the package, but the seller with exceptional bad faith did not want to know. He just had to open a dispute with the post office, but he didn't do anything, just laugh.
