2021 02 08 I have got XHDATA D-808 Portable Digital Radio FM Stereo/SW/MW/LW .I'm very satisfied ,thank You very much. Algirdas
I will be the first person here with correct English grammar. The radio arrived in 3 days. It actually exceeded my expectations on SSB. The numerous reviews on youtube were not enough to completely describe the experience. Once you own one of these, you will love it. What I don't like is the fact that it's a DSP based receiver (mutes the receiver when tuning around), and the fine tuning knob feels cheap. Hope you guys can improve this in the future. I will happily pay for a newer revision.
Following up on my previous message here's my feedback for the next version. - Add rubber pads to the back of the radio to avoid sliding across flat surfaces, Tecsun has rubber pads. - Improve the quality of the knobs, the Fine Tune and Volume knobs feel cheap and easy to damage. - Improve the quality of the Headphone and Antenna jacks. - Add an antenna gain switch. This helps decrease audio distortion if the incoming signal is too strong. - Make the FREQ button a toggle. I'd like to input frequencies anytime I want without having to press FREQ all the time. - (Optional) Add a Bass / Treble switch. I understand you want to release a competitive and viable cheap product to the market. However I feel that you should give us the option for a more premium product. This radio will do just fine for now. But if I want a more robust and durable product, I will always prefer Tecsun. Of course, if you can match their quality, you will win me over.
