I had an old mini PCIe WiFi card laying around and now my desktop has WiFi. Which is great because where I live storm season kills onboard network cards.
For those who are curious the mini PCIe WiFi card I used is a Ralink RT5309BC8 and I'm on Windows 10 version 2004. I also tried a Broadcom BCM94311MCG and, while it appeared superficially to work, it couldn't connect to my network.
