I didn't manage to get it work but it could be just problems over properly getting the serial data computer side. So I'd guess camera is OK. After thinking about it I'm convinced it's not of any direct practical use anyway. it will take 90% of the connections and resources of your microcontroller and there are so much light and low cost variants for esp based circuits that it seems useless to use such a model outside of experimentation and learning.
