Only four stars because its really not purple at all. it's more pink and red. Still pretty but just not as purple as picture. But everything else I ordered was just as pictured.

Had to play with the pen to figure out how to get it assembled right (just because I'm a newbie to fountain pens). Just a note incase you're giving it to someone who is new to pens. Seller was nice enough try to explain when I sent a note.
