Small town dude from Idaho. Not a bot. This device has been very impressive thus far. 2 areas that need improvement. The plastic on all components is very cheap and likely to break if it hits anything with force. The next thing is the wires that connect the speaker and microphone are very thin and fragile. I suspect that will be the first fail point in the system assuming it does get damaged by a crash or dropping a helmet. Literally everything else works perfectly. Exactly as described. It too a little bit to pair the radio adapter. The main unit paired very easily to the phone. Now it’s pairs with both automatically. Turn the Bluetooth on your phone. Turn on the Bluetooth adapter for the radio. Then turn on the main unit and it will auto pair. System mounted in the helmet really well. Came with everything needed. Speaker volume seems to be adequate and the clarity/quality is really good. The PTT that mounts on the handle bars works really well. It comes pre-paired to the main unit.
all works and functionality really nice ! connecting to PTT dongle is not so easy - first hold down headset "on button" until red/blue flashing, then PTT dongle "on button" until red/blue flashing. Also it must be done before pairing with phone. Radio sound quality not good but with medium radio volume and maximum headset volume it is acceptable (radio and phone audio strenght is separate) Phone bluetooth connecting is easy and sound quality and loudness is ok IP66 i do not think so. Time shows how it holds up in rain. earphone and microphone plugs are larger than expected - i needed to further drill the factory penetration of the helmet to fit the cables thru would i buy again? Yes i needed second !
