works as advertised. there are multiple modes in this and I don't even know what most of them do. you can set it so that it turns on when the temperature rises to a certain point or when the temperature goes down. there's also a range feature. for example I have it set to turn on cooling fans when the temperature hits 50°c. it doesn't turn off untill the temperature goes below 48°c. Do a Google search to find what the modes do.
