the lens is great for the price. Considering it's the only option with a 35mm field of view for Sony APS-C. The bokeh is a little nervous, but it's not annoying. It's sharp enough at f1.4 and really sharp at f2.8. The focusing is almost silent. If you put a shotgun mic on top, it probably won't pick up any sound. The only annoying thing is the aperture dial which can be easily moved. I just put some electrical tape to fix it in place.
