This is VERY usefull! It works with any old KVM with VGA-PS2-PS2 connections. Simply connect this to the VGA input port of the KVM and then connect the VGA cable that goes to monitor. Then you can connect any device with HDMI input and the display is mirrored. The only caveat is that it requires constantly 5V power via the micro usb input at the rear. Withour power there is no display at all. It is an active adapter. (It took loads of time ti arrive though)
