Once the product has two versions, sata and pcie, and they are not compatible, my suggestion is be mote clear in product description and tells about the options.

When I plugged it in with an external USB cover the laptop was not able to recognize the drive. Not sure if the product sent was faulty. I see a red light on the chip.
I figured it out that the partition was not formatted. After partitioning it , it worked. I would give 5 stars.
