While the descriptions says that the 5.5x2.5mm connector is compatible with 5.5x2.1mm sockets, in reality it's not – the connection in this case is too weak and unstable, I had to buy a 2.5->2.1mm adapter. Also, the wire strain relief is not fixed firmly in the converter body, which means that the internals are not protected from moist and the wire may fail too soon.
