I ordered the product because I wanted to measure the amps, watts and the voltage from a gold mount battery through a dtap adaptor (the seller says that dtap adaptor give 108w charging speed to my laptop from a gold mount battery). I wanted to verify that. It doesn’t work as expected. My line is like this: Gold mount battery dtap port - adaptor usb C port - usb c cable - voltmeter - usb c cable - laptop. The voltmeter doesn’t start. It only starts when I plug its USB A connector directly to my adaptor’s USB A (that adaptor has 2 output connections: USB A and USB C). I’ve tried to connect my power brick from my laptop - USB C cable - volt meter - USB C cable - laptop. It doesn’t work. It works only when I connect USB A devices. I didn’t find any manual on the site. I’m a beginner in measurements but it supposed to be easy. It should work because is plug and play.
