The adapter works mostly as expected. It is however not symmetrical. USB3 speeds are only supported if you insert the USB-C side in one orientation, flipping the orientation means you'll only get USB2 speeds. So, if speeds seem slow, flip the USB-C side. I was expecting it to work both ways since USB-C is symmetrical, but this adapter only supports USB3 speed in one orientation. Other than that the adapter works marvelously. Shipping speed was very good too.
