It's as the image, a simple C of plastic that can be extended to acomodate different phone sizes. The spring isn't too strong but it's enough to maintain the phone in place. The two holes are adequate for the typical tripod screw which isn't included. To sum it up, a nice piece to have for that price but don't expect a masterpiece.
